A couple of days ago I got to see two of the most awesome anime series ever. The first (which is my fav) Mystical Detective Loki Ragnorak. Its awesome, its a series where they have taken the norse gods and turn them into young ppl and they hunt Loki(who was thrown and banished to earth). Odin himself is only seen in the form of an eye and he's pretty evil looking. Loki runs a detective agency he doesn't know why hes been banished but he does know that he wants to go home and figure out why. It seems he is supposed tocause ragnorak(the end of the norse gods). Well now Loki,his son and his friend are solving supernatural mysteries,while he is on a quest to get home to Asgard. I've got the first volume and its awesome its like a comedy and a supernatural show all wrapped in one. Its dark in some places and light in others. I'll give more details on that and the characters and each episode later. But now i've got to tell you about my other anime discovery.
The other anime i picked up is call Godannar. Its like a throw back to the mecha series from back in the day. Its about this guy Go who saves this girl Anna from Mech-Beasts and five years later marries her.(At least they try to get married until another attack happens) Well she later becomes a robot pilot like Go(who i might add doesn't like the idea). They work for Anna's mom. Go's brother lives with them( while secretly loving Anna). Go's long lost love who he thought was dead comes back( a little off too i might add). And pretty much theres loads of action, sexual tension, and comedy. And with the robots the monsters(and the fact the robots combine) Its like a fusion of Tenchi Muyo-Power Rangers-Gundam Seed. Its awesome.
Both of these anime titles are borught to the world by ADV Films (one of the top of my fav lists of studios) Soon i'll be chatting about thye end of Inuyasha, the awesomeness of Naruto, and the coming of Ghost Files (my failed attempt to replace YuYu Hakusho.)
